If you are coming from Edinburgh, you can
get to Stirling in about 1 hour on the M9.
The journey from Glasgow should take around
40 minutes on the M80.
Both motorways converge at Bannockburn Junction
9 where you can turn right onto the A91 for
about 3 miles and then left onto the A905
which will take you into town at the roundabout
on Burghmuir Road.
Alternatively, you can carry on down the M9
to Junction 10 at Craigforth and turn right
onto the A84. Travel along the Drip Road and
enter the town via the roundabout by the River
Forth at the other end of Burghmuir Road.
Stirling Railway Station is right in the centre of town at the foot of Station Road on Goosecroft Road. There is a comfortable waiting area, left luggage lockers, newsagent, cafe / bar, ticket and enquiries office.
